Replace the weak OEM case saver on your Yamaha YFZ450R (EFI models) with a much stronger and more durable solution. The factory case saver is a thin stamped aluminum plate that can bend or deform under chain failure. Our upgraded case saver is 3D printed solid from high-durometer rated thermoplastic polymer, providing exceptional toughness and impact resistance while allowing controlled flex to absorb shock. All necessary is hardware included and is stainless steel to prevent rust.
Precision aluminum inserts are pressed into the mounting holes to prevent compression when bolts are tightened, ensuring a secure and consistent fit. This model also includes alternate mounting provisions that utilize the stator cover bolts, providing a reliable mounting solution even if the OEM mounting bosses are damaged.
The stator bolt inserts are removable, allowing the case saver to be installed using only the OEM mounts if desired. With the inserts removed, the saver slides over the factory stator bolts with no clearance issues, so the stator bolts do not need to be removed.
